Kelly joked that Mark acted like “an honored guest” who believed “the food just materializes,” reports People. Mark sounded more like a food critic. He argued that “there was too much butter in the mashed potatoes.” Kelly admitted that she melted “a chunk of butter on top.”

Their “festive argument” continued on the live talk show. Mark wanted to talk about those infamous mashed potatoes. He asked her whether the butter had melted that way. Kelly noted that her husband took a scoop of butter before bringing it up to her.

Mark had already entered his petty era that day. He admitted that he waited “seven minutes into the dinner” before bringing it up. He recalled asking his wife if she had put butter on the mashed potatoes.

Kelly had one request for her husband. She wanted him to watch over the pizza oven since he read the instructions. “But you became so moody,” she recalled. Kelly asked him to “par-bake”‘ the pizzas, but he refused.

The result is what Kelly called “soup pizza.” However, Mark was proud of the dozen of pizzas he made. He declared that they were perfectly thin. Kelly shared that she had to throw two of them out. “Well, two out of 12 isn’t bad,” Mark joked.
