Nathan Gallagher and Gael Cameron are still going strong.
In between their travel adventures, the Below Deck Mediterranean couple provided a quick but very sweet update on their months-long relationship. Nathan posted a February 14 Instagram video of him and Gael celebrating their first Valentine’s Day together in the latter’s hometown.
The clip — soundtracked by Myles Smith’s “Sweet Love” — began with a shot of their beautiful beach picnic complete with food platters, a few drinks, and a tier of sweet treats. Nathan then turned the camera toward Gael before showing off the breathtaking Sydney skyline.
Nathan declares Gael his “forever Valentine”
The couple returned to Instagram a few hours later to share a couple more peeks at their Valentine’s Day celebration. Gael uploaded a snap of the beach, while Nathan posted a romantic photo of him and Gael kissing at the picnic table.
“My forever valentine [Gael],” Nathan captioned the Story featuring Mahalia’s “Grateful” track.
Gael also shared the picture on her Instagram along with a sweet message for Nathan: “Happy Valentine’s day Bebe.”
Nathan and Gael split after Below Deck Mediterranean Season 9
The yachties met each other in Below Deck Mediterranean Season 9 and had become a couple by the end of the charter season. Shortly after the cameras went down, Nathan and Gael embarked on a weeks-long travel adventure that, unfortunately, resulted in their breakup. The pair attributed the split to several factors, including their long distance. (Nathan is based in Ireland, and Gael lives in Australia.)
Gael addressed the breakup on the Below Deck Mediterranean After Show.
“For the most part, [our time together] was really great, [but] I think he just has a lot of emotional maturing to do,” she said. “I really wish we just stayed friends, because I think he’s a great friend. I think he’s someone who’s awesome to be around. He’s hilarious. You know, I just think some people are great friends and some people you just shouldn’t date.”
Nathan and Gael rekindle their relationship
ast-forward to September 2024, when they revealed they were giving their romance another shot. The pair confirmed the news in a couple of Instagram posts, including a PDA snap captioned, “R3KINDL3D.”
Since then, Nathan and Gael have traveled together to Paris, Barcelona, Mallorca, Indonesia, and the former’s home country of Ireland, where they attended a beautiful wedding for Nathan’s family member.
Between the frequent getaways, sweet gestures, and family get-togethers, it’s seems the relationship is only getting stronger.
