Kelly Ripa Reveals the Thing That ‘Irritates’ Her Most About Mark Consuelos
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos spend a lot of time together, not just because they’ve been married since 1996, but because they also work together.
But that doesn’t mean it’s always sunshine and roses, as evidenced by Ripa’s latest comments about her husband.
On the March 24 episode of their morning talk show, Live With Kelly and Mark, the conversation pivoted to the relationship between happy couples and not posting each other often on social media.
Ripa told her husband “Well then you must be freaking thrilled,” hinting that he doesn’t share photos of her online, something that Consuelos called “ridiculous.”
“Birthdays and all those other things, not just your birthday. Not only do you have to get someone a card, you have to get them a gift, which is great, I love doing that, but then you have to do some stupid Instagram post, and the pictures have to be right. Or you’ve failed,” he griped. “It’s dumb.”
Ripa countered that the part that “irritates me the most” is when Consuelos waits until the last moment to prepare for a milestone event, like “the eve of my birthday and Mark says ‘Hey, do you have any pictures of you that you like?’”
Consuelos stuck his hand out for a handshake and offered a complete stop to posting each other on social media, which brought Ripa to laughter as she said “You’ve never done it to begin with,” before turning to the audience, declaring, “OK guys, so you’ll never know if we’re together or not.”
