Below Deck Sailing Yacht: Danni Warren’s Flirting With Keith Allen Is Ruining The Show (She’s A Terrible Stew)

Danni Warren is a new stew starring in Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5, but her flirting with Keith Allen is ruining the show. Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher returned to head the interior, but she has her hands full with Danni and Diana Cruz. The pair are sensitive and complain too much, but there’s one thing that makes Danni worse than Diana: her constant and cringe pursuit of Keith, a Deckhand working under First Mate Gary King. Keith just wants to do his job, but Danni has other ideas in mind on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5.

Daisy is set to have a difficult charter season, and her fellow stews are the least of her problems. After the fallout from her love triangle with Gary and former Chief Engineer Colin Macrae, Daisy chastised Gary in the season premiere for his lack of support. While Gary still has feelings for Daisy, 22-year-old Chef Cloyce Martin also has his eye on Daisy. Meanwhile, Daisy and Chef Cloyce have clashed over service issues and Captain Glenn Shephard is trying not to get stepped on by a drunken Chief Engineer Davide Morosi. Here’s how Danni could ruin the show.

Danni Warren Is A Lazy Stew

She’s Constantly Complaining

Over the first few episodes of Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5, Danni has positioned herself as a lazy and entitled Stew. Early in the season, Danni voiced strong complaints about her tasks, particularly with cabin cleaning, and clashed with Daisy over table settings. Daisy, known for her no-nonsense approach, criticized Danni for overly emotional reactions and frequent mistakes with details like glass placement, which Danni attributed to her previous training. Danni’s complaint that Daisy’s table decorations were “tacky” as she fought back tears was a bizarre twist.

Danni defended herself on social media, explaining that she struggled with tonsillitis early on in the charter season, which impacted her energy and performance.

“I was soooooo sick the first few charters note the extreme whining about doing cabins and emotions hehehe my bad.. But a lil trip to the doctor and some TLC from my girls,” she wrote, acknowledging that she looked bad onscreen.

Danni credited her fellow crew members, Diana and Emma Crouch, for helping her through her recovery, which wasn’t seen on the show.

Despite her explanations, it doesn’t excuse her complaints to Daisy about doing cabins or learning how to make cocktails. Danni’s skills onboard the Parsifal III were lacking, and Daisy needed her interior crew to be competent. Unfortunately, Danni seems allergic to hard work.

Keith Just Wants To Do His Job

While Keith has admitted that Danni is attractive, he’s clearly turned off by her overly flirty behavior. Unlike womanizer Gary, Keith adopted a more professional attitude amid the typical yacht drama, taking the high road like Colin used to do. Even though Danni hits on him, even in front of guests, Keith stands out for his hardworking approach, which contrasts with Danni’s laziness. Danni probably isn’t even that into Keith; she’s just desperate for a boatmance. She zeroed in on him for his affability from the jump, but Keith is onboard to work and form friendships, not participate in drama.

Keith especially needs to focus on his job because of the incompetence of fellow deckhand Emma. While Gary’s treatment of Emma could be considered unfair, she keeps making careless mistakes, leading Gary to believe she wasn’t trained properly. Sailing yachts are smaller than the large vessels on shows like Below Deck and Below Deck Mediterranean. Therefore, the crews are smaller. However, with only three people, it’s imperative that everyone pulls their weight. Unfortunately, Keith and Gary have done the bulk of the work thus far.

As of now, it doesn’t appear that Danni and Keith are in a relationship, but there are other possibilities at play. If anything, they’re in the early, flirtatious stages of getting to know each other. However, Keith seems uncomfortable at Danni’s cringe, heavy-handed flirting. Additionally, the aftermath of the third season charter could change the trajectory of their relationship.

Danni started flirting heavily with Gary, and it seems they shared a kiss after returning to the Parsifal III. While nothing has been confirmed, Keith seemed upset with the turn of events. Daisy might have been able to comfort Keith, but he dodged a bullet. Danni’s cringe and embarrassing pursuit of Keith combined with her laziness could ruin Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5.
