Kelly Ripa recalls steamy ‘peep show’ moment with Mark Consuelos in ‘freaky’ hotel shower — with a twist ending

Morning TV’s horniest couple is at it once again, with Kelly Ripa revealing in Friday’s a.m. hours that she and Mark Consuelos had a comical — yet no less steamy — incident involving a “freaky” hotel room’s shower.

The Live cohosts kicked off Friday’s episode with a hilarious story about a recent stay in a hotel, where Ripa said she disrobed to shower and, in her mind, enticed her husband in the process.

“We had a peep show hotel room,” she said. “I thought you were looking at me through the frosted glass [of the shower], but on the inside, it was a mirror, so you were just looking seductively at yourself. But, I thought you were looking seductively at me.”

Consuelos initially reacted with confusion as Ripa relayed the story to the audience.

“I don’t usually look at myself when I’m showering,” Consuelos said, while Ripa replied: “That’s because there’s not a mirror available.”

Ripa again stressed that she thought her husband was looking at her, but it was actually “a one-way mirror” with “frosted glass facing” her, so it created an optical illusion for both parties.

Still, Ripa playfully jabbed her husband: “You clearly liked what you saw,” she said, as Consuelos finally confirmed that he remembered the moment.

“I like a sexy hotel room,” Consuelos added. “Nobody minds a sexy hotel room,” his wife responded. “But, if I could only entice you to look at me the way you look at yourself. I was like, I guess he wants me to join him.”

Ripa finished the story by deeming the hotel room a super “freaky” one that was “created by freaks, for freaks.”

This isn’t the first time Ripa has called out the freaks of the world. In August 2023, Ripa even dedicated an on-air foot massage segment to the “WikiFeet weirdos” watching from home.
