Ariana Madix is returning to the small screen.
The Vanderpump Rules alum is set to appear in an upcoming episode of Will Trent, a police procedural series based on Karin Slaughter’s best-selling thriller novels. Ariana announced the gig in October 2024 after Variety confirmed she would play herself in Will Trent‘s current season.
“I am so thrilled and can’t wait to work with everyone,” she captioned the article screenshot.

Ariana will guest star in Will Trent Season 3, Episode 8 (February 25) titled “Abigail B.” According to the official synopsis shared by Us Weekly, the episode will follow Will Trent (Ramón Rodríguez) and Marion Alba (Gina Rodriguez) as they investigate “a chilling child trafficking case, uncovering dark secrets along the way.”
Meanwhile, Ariana is in Atlanta helping to stage an “intervention” for a friend. She ultimately taps Det. Michael Ormewood (Jake McLaughlin) to assist “with personal security, until a seemingly routine intervention escalates into violence.”
Although Ariana’s cameo won’t air until next week, first-look photos confirmed the Bravoleb will have a dance number with McClaughlin’s character.
Ariana Madix’s Acting and Entertainment Career
Ariana, of course, is no stranger to the acting world. In addition to landing the role of Roxie Hart in the Broadway musical Chicago, the former SUR bartender has secured credits in many TV shows, including The Other Two, Paradise City, Waking Up with Strangers, and Anger Management. She’s also competed on Dancing with the Stars Season 32 and took on a hosting gig for Love Island USA Season 6.
Ariana spoke about her acting background in a 2024 interview with Vanity Fair, saying she had spent years pursuing a career in entertainment
“My goal was always to be a working actor. It’s something that took, for me, outside of Vanderpump, between 10 and 20 years to have steady work,” she explained. “ I moved to New York after college. I wanted to pursue acting and theater, and I started doing more on-camera stuff… I started to learn a lot more about the business of entertainment, the showbiz.
“Not to say that I’m not the best actor — I would never knock myself like that — but it’s a combination of things,” she continued. “You can’t just be the best dancer, the best singer, the best actor. You have to also be able to make it make sense business-wise. That was something that I realized riding the audition grind after college.”
