General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) and Willow Corinthos’ (Katelyn MacMullen) relationship has left plenty of people fed up with their characters. There might be hope for Willow’s redemption, but can Drew ever be a viable love interest again after this disgusting romance?
Drew has become particularly loathed on social media – and rightly so since he slept with his nephew’s wife and then encouraged Willow to use burned Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) as leverage when he was in the ICU.
It’s clear that Drew wants to make decisions for Willow and run the show, so he’s taking advantage of her cult mentality and heroic view of him.
Drew is already planning on moving Willow and her children into his new house, so he may end up pressuring her into it.
This romance was gross from the start since Willow previously asked Drew to walk her down the aisle and seemed to view him almost like a father figure.
Of course, we can’t forget that Drew slept with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) when he was falling for Willow and still hasn’t come clean about that news.
Drew has become a massive sleazeball, so is there any coming back from this?
Many GH fans are holding out hope that Drew might land at the center of a fatal whodunit and get written out eventually!
If Drew does stick around and they try to redeem him, it’s going to be a real challenge.
The writing team will have their work cut out for them when it comes to undoing all the damage that’s been done.
It’s tough to even think of this Drew as the same character Billy Miller once played.
Drew has undergone a massive personality transformation and is one of the biggest losers on soaps at this point.
Although Drew used to be a caring guy, he’s become selfish and even cruel at times.
Drew only cares about his relationship with Willow right now, so he’s setting himself up for a huge fall once that romance falls apart.
Willow could dump Drew for keeping his Nina hookups a secret once she ultimately gets updates.
We’d welcome the chance to watch Drew pay for what he’s done, but can Drew bounce back from all this and become a viable love interest for someone else down the road?
