On an episode of Live that aired on Wednesday, November 6, the Days of Our Lives star spoke with Maria Menounos, a guest on the show promoting her new Lifetime movie, Christmas at Plumhill Manor.

During their conversation, Consuelos asked Menounos, “Are there a lot of kissing scenes in this movie?”

Menounos has previously starred in the Lifetime holiday movies The Holiday Fix-Up and The Holiday Dating Guide and said these types of movies “usually” have one kissing scene, however, this time around fans “want[ed] more romance.”

“So they want three this time, and I go, ‘No, no, no, no, no, we’re not doing that,'” Menounos said, adding that her husband often tells her to “be professional!”

Ripa, on the other hand, said she doesn’t mind seeing Consuelos kiss other actresses, and doesn’t get jealous when watching romantic scenes. “I’m not that person. It doesn’t bother me,” Ripa said.

She continued, saying, “I think Mark’s a really good kisser, but I think it looks good. Does that make sense? To me, like, watching it from an outside observer…”

Consuelos added, “So I just kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss.”

Elsewhere in the conversation, Menounos said that she often trolls her father about romantic scenes, saying “I’m like, ‘Dad, we’re making crazy sex scenes in this movie. It’s going to be wild!'”

She even admitted she tried to negotiated for fewer kissing scenes this time around.

“I was reteaming with my director Brian Herzlinger from the last two Christmas movies I did, and I go, ‘Brian, we’re not doing three. I can’t do three. My dad’s going to kill me,'” Menounos said.

Fans can tune in for all the holiday romance when Christmas at Plumhill Manor premieres on Lifetime on Saturday, November 16.
