Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos invited people into their homes to see how they lived. The couple live in a five-story townhouse on New York City’s Upper East Side and bought the home in 2013. According to the couple, the mood is “French fantasy.”
Kelly and Mark have raised their three kids in this townhome. Despite that, it has remained mostly unchanged since interior designers William Sofield and Emma O’Neill of Studio Sofield created the Art Deco look when they bought the home. The couple then chose to let Architectural Digest come in to see the specially designed living space.
Kelly and Mark love their townhome. While many celebs come and go quickly from their living spaces, Kelly said she wants to live in this home for the rest of her life. She told the magazine, “I don’t want to sound morbid, but they’ll have to carry me out of here feet-first because I have gotten good and comfortable in this house.”
Mark was who wanted to customize the house before they moved in for both their tastes and practical needs. William Sofield came up with his version of early 20th-century French glamour with functional touches, like dual Art Deco-style armoires that keep scooters and sporting equipment hidden from view.
This includes 1940s dining room chairs and a Napoleon-style secretary desk from around 1870 in the entryway. The cigar room has black leather couches, dark walls, and a backlit bar with velvet curtains. The couple seems to love their home.

A respected interior designer created the home’s look, and Kelly and Mark loved it. However, fans are always there to give their opinions, and many don’t like the townhouse design.
