Kelly Ripa Snaps At Mark Consuelos After He Mishears Her On ‘Live’
Rewind the tape! Things got a little feisty on Wednesday’s Live with Kelly and Mark after Mark Consuelos shared the shockingly warm weather forecast ahead of Halloween.
“73 [degrees] today, 80 degrees tomorrow,” he shared.
Kelly Ripa claimed “that’s gotta be near a record of some kind,” though Consuelos shot her down.
“No, it’s not,” he insisted. “The record was in 1946 for 81 [degrees]. But it could get there.”
Ripa was quick to call out Consuelos, who clearly misheard her.
“Near record,” she read out to Consuelos, pointing to the words on the paper in front of him. “What did I say? ‘It’s gotta be near a record.’”
Consuelos asked, “Oh, is that what you said?”
Ripa replied, “Did I not just say that?”
While an uncertain Consuelos teased that he was “throwing the flag,” both he and Ripa got a kick out of the moment, as they asked their crew if they could “rewind” and “go to the tape from three seconds ago.”
“They’re like, ‘What do you think we are, CNN? We can’t do that,’” she quipped. “‘We can’t rewind from three seconds ago.’”
Consuelos posed that “maybe for the end of the show” they could take a look at the footage, though Ripa was not so sure.
“Oh, trust me, we’re never going to see this moment,” she joked. “But you all saw it and you are my witnesses.”
