Gina Rodriguez as Marion Alba in Will Trent season 3, episode 1

Gina Rodriguez’s Marion Alba makes her Will Trent season 3 debut during the premiere when she runs into Will at a Mexican restaurant. Will’s case leads him there as the victim (a cop) had scheduled a meeting with an unknown person. That mysterious person turns out to be Marion, the Assistant District Attorney of Fulton County. The victim intended to act as a whistleblower to expose corruption in the Atlanta Police Department, but he was killed before he could discuss his options with Marion.

So, Will confronts Marion and asks her what she knows. The two characters don’t get off to a great start as they are both apprehensive about trusting one another, but it soon becomes clear that Will and Marion work well together and have a playful banter. She agrees to help him with the case, and she will continue to do so during the second part of the Will Trent season 3 premiere. However, since Rodriguez is a part of the main cast, viewers should expect to see Marion stick around for the rest of the season.
